               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">id="tms_job_84">CMM Technician<BR><BR><BR>Job Code :84<BR>Division :Engineered Products<BR>Location :Portland OR US 97210<BR><BR>Job Type :Full Time<BR>Career Level :Experienced (Non-Manager)<BR>Education :High School or equivalent<BR>Category :Engineering<BR>Job Description :<BR><BR>The CMM Technician position is responsible for providing Dimensional Services (CMM Operator/ Programmer, Laser scanner Operator), providing technical expertise to assure dimensional quality of ESCO products, promote and support worldwide fit and interchangeability of new and existing products, and contribute to the needs of worldwide manufacturing of ESCO products by providing resources, observations and advice in product inspection, gaging and other areas where talents and knowledge may be utilized. This position also provides Dimensional Services to Dimensional/Gage Engineers, Product Engineers, and Manufacturing to support all aspects of product fit development and release, and allow them to acquire knowledge. Also ensures VPF/CMM Programs are fully tested, correct and up-to-date.<BR>Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to:<BR>* Operate Portland Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)<BR>* Create Online CMM programs.<BR>* Provide technical support for ESCO CMM operators at other facilities<BR>* Operate Portland Laser scanner<BR>* Understand and interpret key customer requirements and generate dimensional outputs.<BR>* Provide interpretation and advice on geometry definition for ESCO product and tooling<BR>* Discrepancy reporting<BR>* 8Maintain all associated hardware and software<BR>* Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.<BR>* Work with manufacturing teams and/or suppliers to ensure products meet quality requirements.<BR>* Recommend and perform other inspection services as appropriate<BR>* Establish requirements and document quality.<BR>Job Requirements :<BR><BR>Qualified candidates will possess the following inventory of skills:<BR>* High school diploma or equivalent required; a four year college degree preferred.<BR>* Effective communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.<BR>* Ability to interpret engineering drawing and GD&T Protocol.<BR>* Basic Microsoft Office application skills.<BR>* Ability to Program CMM Using PCDMIS Software.<BR>* Good time management skills and ability to work independently with little supervision.<BR>* Manual inspection experience.
