               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Coding Auditor Sr.<BR>Location: Clackamas, OR<BR>Provides coding assistance, performs audits, provides quality review, & prepares feedback for clinicians on their medical service documentation & coding. Ensure that KPNW receives appropriate reimbursement & conforms to applicable guidelines & regulations.<BR>Essential Functions:<BR>- Perform periodic quality audits of documentation & coding in EpicCare.<BR>- Analyze results & prepare summary feedback for individual clinicians & staff, making recommendations for improvement.<BR>- Contribute to the maintenance of tools to audit service data.<BR>- Responsible for QA process of all Coding Auditors.<BR>- Must maintain & report a percentage level of accuracy & production of Coding Auditors.<BR>- This information must be presented on a monthly basis to Supervisor &/or Manager of Documentation & Coding.<BR>- Assist w/ performance management of staff.<BR>- Provide coding consultation to specialists or primary care clinicians as assigned on coding & documentation questions.<BR>- W/in assigned clinical specialties, maintain current knowledge to ensure that KPNW coding & documentation meets regulatory guidelines & audit standards, & results in appropriate reimbursement.<BR>- Act as a support system for Coding Auditors & field questions & help develop protocols for all job roles w/in the Coding Auditor position.<BR>- Must maintain information in the Coding Auditor manual & Documentation & Coding Policy & Procedure Manual & update/review periodically.<BR>- Performs other duties as requested.<BR>Qualifications:<BR>Basic Qualifications:<BR>o 1 year of professional coding experience.<BR>o 6 mos. Coding Auditor II experience in the Documentation & Coding Services Department.<BR>o Quality Accuracy coding standard of 97% or higher for 3 months prior to job posting.<BR>o Require a CPC &/or CCS-P<BR>o Must have achieved competencies as outlined in training objectives.<BR>o Must have demonstrated competencies as outlined in quality objectives.<BR>o Working knowledge of medical terminology & pathophysiology.<BR>o Or equivalent combination of education & experience.<BR>o Internal applicants only- Must have in depth knowledge of WQ & Professional Billing/Coding for affiliated hospitals as well as KSMC.<BR>o Strong interpersonal & communication skills.<BR>o Strong time management skills & ability to meet deadlines.<BR>o Ability to write reports summarizing audit findings & recommendations<BR>Preferred Qualifications:<BR>o Working knowledge of medical specialties, including the clinical conditions seen & procedures performed.<BR>o Working knowledge of outpatient &/or inpatient healthcare setting.<BR>o Working knowledge of the KPHC system.<BR><BR>Salary Range:<BR>$23.34 - $28.91                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     </font></td>
