<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">***Registration in iMatchSkills required for referral to this position*** Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent * 2 years experience as a Commercial Engine Mechanic including use of megohmmeter, multi-meter, loadbank, and amp clamps to test and repair engine generator sets. * Valid Driver License to occasionally drive company vehicles. Have or obtain DOT card. Employer Preferences: * Associates in Diesel Technology, or military training in diesel technology. * Basic computer keyboarding. * Proficient with email and database software. * Ideal candidate will have excellent work habits, attention to detail, attendance, punctuality, safety, and cooperation, excellent communication / customer service skills are essential, and a demonstrated interest in quality workmanship. Employer Notes: * Overtime is required on a regular basis during seasonally busy time * Physical exam after job offer, drug screen, background check, and DMV records check will be conducted. Job Duties: * Troubleshoot and perform specified repairs to electric power generators, industrial and marine engines, including metering, switchgear, and electronic and engine controls in the field. * Learn complex Caterpillar systems in electronics and mechanical controls. * Grasp troubleshooting and diagnostic processes on Caterpillar engines and EPG equipment. * Perform disassembly and assembly of components used in power generation. * Start-up of new engines or generators in the field * Complete service reports, time cards, and other related paperwork using a computer. * Provide required tools as designated by company tool list. * Keep work area clean throughout the day. * Wear safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and other personal protective equipment, as job tasks requires. * Attend training classes and departmental meetings as scheduled. * Complete other duties/projects as assigned by supervisor, and as customer needs require. * Work in field environment, and in adverse weather conditions, when necessary. * Work without direct supervision. </font></td>
