Works with teams to execute the continuous improvement plan to achieve business results and build a sustainable lean culture. Viewed as a supporting resource for lean principles.<BR><BR>Essential functions include, but not limited to:<BR><BR><BR>? Lead a team through a kaizen event<BR>? Plans, executes, and follows up on kaizen activities<BR>? Coaches others through the PDCA problem solving cycle and QVS principles<BR>? Develops contacts internal and external to Esco for keeping updated regarding best practices<BR>? Participates in value stream map implementation plans<BR>? Facilitates training and development of lean techniques<BR>? Measures and manages improvement results<BR>? Works with process owner(s) to assess and prioritize continuous improvement actions<BR>? Executes the continuous improvement plan with coaching and guidance<BR>? Keeps current with personal development of continuous improvement skills<BR>? Participates in yearly Process Management diagnostic<BR>? Ensures documentation and posting of continuous improvement activities/events, alignment and collaboration between manufacturing plants, and that successful methods are shared and deployed where appropriate.<BR>Job Requirements :<BR><BR>? Education: BS or equivalent preferred.<BR>? Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental lean techniques and principles.<BR>? A minimum of 2 years hands on lean experience as a team member in manufacturing.<BR>? Must have demonstrated increased levels of responsibility for leading improvement events.<BR>? Problem solving skills required.<BR>? Proven ability to teach/train others, plus strong team building skills.<BR>?
