This role will provide strategic leadership to assist in the identification, development and execution of continuous improvement plans; create management systems that support a lean culture. The person in role will be viewed as the plant expert in Lean Manufacturing principles with responsiblities to include:<BR>* Faciliatating training and development in lean techniques, including Rapid Cycle improvement and Value Stream Mapping plans. Use experience and process management skills to identify and implement continuous improvement activities. <BR>* Support plant management in identifying and removing obstacles that impact the lean transformation. Work with Manufacturing Managers to assess and prioritize continuous improvement actions and organize work teams to develop and accomplish improvement action plans.<BR>* Actively initiate sharing of best practices throughout the plant ensuring documentation and posting of continuous improvement activities and events. Ensure alignment and collaboration between manufacturing plants; as well as stay current with personal development of continuous improvement skills.<BR>Job Requirements :<BR><BR>* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Systems discipline<BR>* 5 years manufacturing background; Manufacturing Engineering experience preferred.<BR>* Contacts internal and external to ESCO for keeping updated regarding best practices. <BR>* Familiarity with "Toyota Kata" & "Chasing the Rabbit" are preferred learnings. </font></td>
