               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse<BR> <BR>Department Nursing Resource Management<BR> <BR>Location OHS 14C90<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> FTE: 0.9; Schedule: 1900-730, every other weekend; Location: Marquam hill.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Registered Nurse assumes primary responsibility for and provides direct and indirect professional nursing care to patients. The Registered Nurse assesses patient's needs, develops plan of care, implements and evaluates nursing care: provides education and consultation to staff, students, patients and community. Functions under age specific practice model of assigned unit: Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac Medical ICU, Cardiac Surgical ICU, Intermediate Cardiac Unit, PACU and ED.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: State of Oregon RN License; Requires BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross; ACLS. Three (3) Years Current Critical Care experience in a high acuity Critical Care Setting. Float within Assigned Units. Excellent verbal and written communication. Dependable work History. Verifiable by reference: Excellent team skills, excellent time management, work habits and customer service; demonstration of critical thinking skills; must be able to work independently and make sound decisions with follow-through in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: BSN. Two (2) year commitment to float pool. CCRN.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Constant exposure to usual hospital environmental conditions. Possible exposure to body substances.
