Position Summary
Interface with customer via phone and mail to respond in a timely manner to requests for quotes, pricing and delivery of products, order status, as well as process sales orders and returns.
Work design: Works under general supervision Work is spot-checked. Resolves non-routine problems by applying general policies, practices, procedures and principles. Performs in-depth analyses of standard problems.
Position Accountabilities
1. Administer quoting process by generating approved proposals and sales orders.
2. Coordinate with manufacturing to determine delivery dates for orders based on customer''''s need. Personally expedite "Rush" & "Hot" orders.
3. Establish personal relationship with customers and end users.
4. Be the primary "factory" contact for the sales force and the customer. Communicate with customer and related sales person. Attend weekly Production meeting inform Sales and customer issues related to orders in house, issues which would affect the delay or late delivery of an order.Required Skills
Strong written, verbal, organizational and basic skills required. Professional telephone manner and ability to work independently. Tact and diplomancy under stressful and fast paced environment necessary. Adept in prioritizing heavy work load. Capable of juggling multiple tasks at the same time. Interperonal or "People" skills.Required Experience
Business Degree or equivalent. Ability to learn our technical product line. 2 year minimum customer service experience required. Familiarity with semiconductor industry and manufacturing environment.Job LocationPortland, Oregon, United StatesPosition TypeFull-Time/Regular
