<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Data Analyst II - SAS<BR>Location: Portland, OR<BR>The Data Analyst II position is an excellent opportunity to leverage your strong analytical skills and extend your BI knowledge. Analyze business information and reporting needs, assess existing data sources and translates these into logical database designs and physical information and domain data marts.<BR><BR>Essential Functions:<BR>- In collaboration with KPIT and business clients define and document domain level information mart requirements for purposes of supporting end user reporting and consistent business rule definitions.<BR>- Supports existing marts and planning for future releases<BR>- Develops data definitions consistent with data management standards and conventions.<BR>- Documents and maintains information and data needs commensurate with standard documentation protocols.<BR>- Maintains content and documentation of current data marts.<BR>- Maintains and monitors quality of data into and out of data marts.<BR>- Populates information repository and deploys updates.<BR>- Collaborates with physical database designers to develop alternative solutions for meeting complex and conflicting requirements.<BR>- Develops data definitions consistent with data management standards and conventions.<BR>- Support applications that combine data from existing sources, tailored to specific user groups and business needs.<BR>- Work with key system users to identify user requirements and continuously improve their ability to access information easily and efficiently.<BR>- Ensure consistency with established data and application standards.<BR>- Report analyst duties, e.g. design and develop automated actionable reports to inform managers in a timely fashion.<BR>- Information analyst duties, e.g., conduct analysis and make recommendations to business unit based on findings of analysis.<BR>- Perform other duties as requested.<BR>Qualifications:<BR>Basic Qualifications:<BR>- Three (3) years in data analytics<BR>- Government reporting, Regulatory reporting preferred<BR>- SAS Enterprise Guide experience preferred<BR>- ETL experience preferred<BR>- Health care or insurance industry experience preferred<BR>- BA or BS in analytical or technical disciplineor equivalent technical certification training & experience<BR>- BA or BS in quantitative or technical discipline, preferred<BR>- Proven skills in project management, including the following attributes: efficient, collaborative, candid, open, and results-oriented<BR>- Establish clear performance contracts and project workplans<BR>- Proficiency in the use of current software, including SAS/SQL, Oracle and Teradata, and Microsoft Office<BR>- Logical data modeling and use of data modeling tools<BR>- Proactive issue avoidance or opportunity discovery<BR>- Technical specification writing<BR>- Specific and broad knowledge of KPNW operations, KP applications, and KP HealthConnect, including Hyperspace, Clarity and Chronicles, preferred </font></td>
