That&rsquo;s where you come into the picture.<BR>Position Summary:<BR>The Demand Planner is responsible for style level forecasts for specific categories from pre-season estimates to in-season monthly demand forecasts using historical data, statistical projections, and market feedback. The forecasts need to be monitored and maintained throughout the season. Forecast confidence, opportunities and risks need to be effectively communicated to Supply Planners and Buyers.<BR>Build seasonal and monthly demand forecasts at style-color level based on strategic category revenue and profitability goals, market conditions and opportunities, advertising plans, customer bookings and sell-through, category cancellation trends, account door profiles and growth plans. The demand plan is the input for the finished goods flow plan maintained by the Supply Planner.<BR>Provide on-going reconciliation of the style forecast to the financial targets.<BR>Support line development process by creating initial consensus seasonal style level forecasts in collaboration with Sales and Merchandising.<BR>Support line planning, SKU management, and long range material planning by creating seasonal full-price sales forecasts at the style and style-color level.<BR>Determine and communicate forecast confidence, including risks and opportunities, to the Supply Planners.<BR>Education:<BR>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.<BR>Experience/Knowledge:<BR>Requires 5-8 years of professional experience and strong competency with the various tools, systems, or procedures required to accomplish the job. Solid knowledge of principles, concepts, and theories within own function and other related areas.
