<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Director, Large Group Account Management - Health Insurance<BR>Location: Portland, OR<BR>Directs MSBD multi-year strategy and efforts in growing and retaining group business in the Mid and Large Account Management line of business. Oversees Managers in achieving commercial new and existing group membership and forecasting enrollment. Directs staff in developing and executing against defined metrics regarding account management plans, in-group growth and retention, and workflow and administration goals. Oversees and engages in enhancing relationships with regional brokers and consultants. Directs, manages and enhances existing account management channels for Mid and Large group lines of business.<BR><BR>Essential Functions:<BR>- Direct account management units for the mid and large commercial and group Medicare market segment.<BR>- Has dotted line accountability for National Accounts as well.<BR>- Develop and execute multi-year strategy to maximize membershk letip and margin growth in the above lines of business.<BR>- Consistently achieve budgeted membership forecast and manage staff to expectations for consistent quota achievement, retention and pipeline development, including medical and dental.<BR>- Develop management and staff''s skills with the objective of creating excellence in leadership, management, in-group sales and account management.<BR>- Ensure a high level of service and education is provided to group customers and their brokers, agents and advisors.<BR>- Manage and maintain positive, active relationships with regional brokers, agents and general agents.<BR>- Collaborate with new marketing distribution channels and enhance existing sales channels, e.g. brokers, direct, business coalitions, etc.<BR>- Monitor Kaiser Permanente''s competitive position in mid, large and national markets.<BR>- Oversee the collection of commercial market and competitive information by staff.<BR>- Identify competitive strengths and effectively use this knowledge as the basis for an effective strategy and approach.<BR>- Recognize competitive weaknesses, opportunities and threats.<BR>- Recommend changes in marketing strategy to Sr. Director and other KP leaders to maximize Kaiser Permanente''s competitive position.<BR>- Direct, develop and implement strategic action plans to achieve forecast for each market segment.<BR>- In conjunction with the Sr. Director of Group Sales and Account Management, Director of Marketing, and under the direction of Vice President, develop annual commercial forecast and participate in annual rate setting.<BR>- Participate in new and existing commercial review meetings.<BR>- Oversee managers in mid and large markets in the development of annual book of business and strategic account plans.<BR>- Review with directors and managers the viability/equity of territory, account and broker assignments annually at a minimum.<BR>- Leverage internal and external resources to meet account management membership objectives.<BR>- Attend and have appropriate staff attend regional and national training programs </font></td>
