This position supports the overall organizational objectives by providing strategic alternatives to meet the distribution needs of the business (B2B/B2C). The successful candidate must be a champion in team building, strategic cost savings, and supporting the Company&rsquo;s business beliefs, while leading continuous improvement activities toward world class goals.<BR>RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:<BR>* Develop and implement a formal, global, multiple DC logistics strategy.<BR>* Apply a total systems approach to designing and managing the entire flow of distribution.<BR>* Manage global transportation operations.<BR>* Participate in global Continuous Improvement initiatives, integrating best practices at each location.<BR>* Supervisory duties include: selection and onboarding of qualified employees, training via internal and external resources, providing performance feedback in annual reviews, administering salaries per policy.<BR>* Must be able to travel to global locations on a frequent basis. <BR>KEY COMPETENCIES:<BR>* Demonstrated ability to design and lay out distribution facilities and best-in-class operations<BR>* Demonstrated excellence in leadership and project management<BR>* Apply Lean principles in all projects<BR>* Demonstrated ability to apply continuous improvement in a leadership role<BR>* Demonstrated strong communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation.
