This position must be a champion in strategic cost savings, team building, and supporting the company&#39;s business beliefs while creating a world class, professional purchasing team to support global organizational excellence.<BR>RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:<BR>* Apply strategic sourcing practices and manage supplier negotiations.<BR>* Analyze global sourcing market and develop strategy for sourcing commodities.<BR>* Manage acquisition planning by determining global needs, analyzing requirements and competition, sourcing selections and negotiating terms and conditions.<BR>* Lead major negotiations and large sourcing engagements within global span.<BR>* Analyze significant inventory trends and changes in suppliers and prices to capitalize on opportunities and maximize company&#39;s position.<BR>* Participate in global Continuous Improvement initiatives, integrating best practices at each location.<BR>* Supervisory duties include: selection and onboarding of qualified employees, training via internal and external resources, providing performance feedback in annual reviews, administering salaries per policy.<BR>* Up to 50% global travel.<BR>KEY COMPETENCIES:<BR>* Expertise in a broad range of purchasing activities, including inventory and supply chain management, technical sourcing project including those involving close interfacing with other functions such as Engineering and Quality, and leading-edge procurement practices<BR>* Solid understanding of purchasing and supplier management princ                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                </font></td>
