<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Diversity Manager for Faculty Recruitment and Retention<BR> <BR>Department Center for Diversity & Inclusion<BR> <BR>Location MAC 1115<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> FTE 1.0; Salary Range: $ DOE; Location: Marquam Hill Campus.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> This position reports to the Vice President Chief Administrator Officer/Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) and has a dotted line reporting relationship to the Assistant Chief Diversity Officer and Vice Provost for Diversity. The Diversity Manager for Faculty Recruitment and Retention serves as the institution-wide resource to support the recruitment and retention of diverse faculty members and also assist student recruitment for the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Dentistry. The position is responsible for the development and implementation of faculty recruitment and retention strategic initiatives, programs and policies with the purpose of increasing the diversity of our faculty. The incumbent will work with academic leaders, search committees, HR partners, administrative management and others to provide consultation and establish best practices to achieve an increase of diversity among our faculty population. The incumbent is responsible for creating effective strategies, launching recruitment campaigns, developing tracking mechanisms and designing metrics to measure and report outcomes. The Diversity Manager of Recruitment and Retention is also responsible for tracking applicants from initial contact through the hiring process, and conducting informational interviews to facilitate internal referrals. The incumbent will create and support social media outlets to implement effective strategies to recruit diverse faculty members and travel to conferences and other forums representing OHSU. Additionally, the incumbent will develop, implement and/or identify retention support services, programming, and professional development opportunities for diverse faculty members.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field; and at least five years of recruitment experience. Experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully work in partnership in an academic or healthcare environment. Previous experience working with faculty or other senior classifications. Previous experience working with a variety of diverse communities or populations (disability, minority, and disadvantaged). Working knowledge of recruitment principles and laws and regulations related to employment. General understanding of human resources policies and practices. Proven creative ability in sourcing candidates and marketing using a variety of mediums. Working knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines. Proven ability to undertake multiple priorities concurrently, ability to self-prioritize, and to consistently meet due dates and time lines.
