The successful candidate will create and update moderately complex drawings and supporting Engineering documentation that defines products, machinery/equipment, associated electrical features, gauging. and packaging. Maintain complete and accurate current and historical Engineering records for the division. Primary person in Oregon Cordless responsible for inputting drawings and documents into SAP, Source, and future data management systems.<BR>RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:<BR>* Create or modify layouts, detail and assembly drawings using ProE<BR>* Review change requests with Project Engineers<BR>* Update BOMs as required; ensure the completion of BOMs and drawings and complete all necessary storage and distribution of new drawings or ECNs<BR>* Convert legacy files to ProE<BR>* Complete SAP and Source projects<BR>* Ensure the completion of Engineering Change Request projects and complete all necessary storage and distribution of design documentation<BR>* Help customers find and/or clarify information regarding engineering documentation<BR>* Database maintenance<BR>* Identify Engineering process and system improvement opportunities<BR>* Clearly communicate technical concepts and information to stakeholders through formal and informal documents<BR>EDUCATION:<BR>* A.A. Degree in Drafting Technology or equivalent<BR>QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:<BR>* Two or more years drafting experience required. Exposure to product, tooling, machine/equipment and electrical drafting desirable.<BR>* 3-D CAD experience required. Pro/Engineer strongly preferred.<BR>* Experience with geometric tolerancing<BR>* Knowledge of SAP or other tier 1 ERP system is a plus<BR>* Must be flexible in ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently in an environment of changing priorities<BR>* Mechanical aptitude needed, familiar with machine shop practices<BR>* Excellent team skills required<BR>* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed<BR>* Must be accurate and detail oriented<BR>* Ability to meet dea </font></td>
