<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Emerging Markets Retail Controller<BR>Location: OR-Portland<BR>Job Number:_00080490<BR><BR><BR>As the Emerging Markets (EM) Retail Controller, you'll provide oversight and leadership of the accounting, financial reporting and internal control functions for our growing Retail business. You'll support the EM Controller and Nike's Global Controlling organization to ensure the integrity of the financial statements (management and statutory) and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP. You'll drive functional excellence and alignment across our geography's operating entities and monitor compliance with Corporate financial policies and procedures. You'll be responsible for identifying and solving technical accounting issues and serve as a corporate liaison and business advisor to our territory finance teams on financial accounting and reporting operations relating to our retail business. You'll thrive and adapt in a business environment that's fast-paced, continually evolving, and covers multiple time zones and currencies. You'll anticipate local and global business challenges and evaluate financial risks and opportunities. You'll provide people leadership by actively participating in activities such as work planning, process and policy development, resource optimization, goal-setting, and performance management. You'll also have cross-functional management responsibilities and will collaborate with your fellow finance leaders to build teamwork across departments, lead cross-group initiatives and maximize the overall productivity of the EM Finance organization. <BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>? Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, with an emphasis in accounting or finance<BR>? 6 - 8 years experience in finance and accounting, preferably with a multi-national Fortune 500 company and/or Big 4 public accounting firm<BR>? CPA (or equivalent professional accounting designation) is strongly preferred<BR>? Previous Nike and retail industry experience highly desirable<BR>? Strong US GAAP and SOX 404 knowledge<BR>? Ability to work collaboratively with other functional teams to solve problems that enable the business<BR>? Ability to influence and effectively communicate complex topics to a broad and diverse stakeholder group<BR>? Tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to independently drive and deliver results<BR>? Enthusiasm for working with diverse cultures and personalities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment<BR>? Attention-to-detail and highly developed problem-solving skills<BR>? Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills<BR>? Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and Outlook<BR>? SAP experience preferred<BR>?
