               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">***Registration in iMatchSkills www.imatchskills.org required for referral to this position***     REQUIREMENTS:  * High School Diploma or GED  *2 years of  experience in building maintenance  * Have one or more trades of lock-smiting,  electrical, plumbing, HVAC/mechanical and general building repair  * Basic knowledge of LEED building practices  * Skills in the operation, repair, and maintenance of shop equipment and tools  * Knowledge of the chemicals used by the maintenance department  * Familiarity with filling out forms accurately   * Verbal and written communication skills  * Valid Oregon driver's license and clean driving record to be insurable with the corporate insurance carrier  * Knowledge of telephone, TV and computer systems  * Skills in computer operations   * Type 40 words per minute  * Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and Outlook software  * Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check  * Pass DMV records check     JOB DUTIES:   * Perform major and minor inspections and maintenance, repair general electrical, general plumbing, lighting, hardware, TV, locks, and safety systems  * Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of and to the campus lock, entry systems, doors, and related hardware  * Maintain key inventory and control systems  * Provide emergency repairs to facility and equipment as needed  * Repair and maintain all major equipment for Dining Services, Laundry, and Skilled Nursing Facility, including the emergency generator  * Repair and maintain all maintenance supplies, tools and equipment  * Maintain the Facility Services workshop in an orderly fashion  * Perform carpentry repair and small project work  * Interact with staff, other departments and residents      EMPLOYER'S COMMENTS: Work is very active, involves walking and being on feet most of the time.   Moderate to heavy physical labor requiring ability to frequently maneuver items over 50 lbs. Work involves bending, stooping, crouching, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, and carrying; exposure to uncomfortable temperatures and odors.  Work related communication topics are varied as are circumstances, but tend to be routine.
