We believe our employees are the foundation of our Company's success, and we are committed to continuous learning and quality, focusing on the customer, respect and accountability, flexibility, and good relationships with others.<BR>As an Engineering/Product Test Technician within the Blount Performance Lab you will design and execute tests on OREGON® products, prototypes, and competitive products to evaluate their performance, reliability, and safety attributes as compared to product design parameters or advertising claims. Your knowledge of cutting edge test equipment and a strong desire to put new products through their paces will help us make better products.<BR>JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:<BR>* Configure and operate test equipment including data acquisition systems to record data in a form that matches the customers’ expectations<BR>* Work with engineers to develop new testing methods/processes, and new instrumentation as required by product development projects<BR>* Analyze data using statistical tools and communicate results effectively with a wide range of customers<BR>* Modify equipment for new applications; develop and document according test methodology<BR>* Build and repair electronic equipment<BR>* Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems to component level<BR>* Provide and coordinate calibration services<BR>* Develop training material; train and mentor technical staff<BR>* Deliver excellent and timely communication both written and verbal to a wide audience while also listening effectively<BR>* Develop and implement documentation requirements to comply with standards<BR>EDUCATION:<BR>* Associates degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience<BR>QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:<BR>* 10 or more years of equivalent job related experience operating and testing electro/mechanical products<BR>* Demonstrated strong hands on mechanical aptitude, knowledge of and skills in electronics: PC Computers, SPC tools, gauge capability, and experimental design<BR>* Experience operating outdoor lawn and garden, industrial, and agricultural equipment<BR>* Familiarity with a wide variety of test and measurement equipment<BR>* Proficiency in LabView and MS Office Suite with strong to expert skills in Excel<BR>* Proven strong communication and collaboration skills<BR>OUR BENEFIT PAC </font></td>
