Assist the Material Scientists with sample and fixture fabrication, and act as a liaison between ESCO's manufacturing departments in addition to outside resources.<BR>Responsibilities:<BR>? Hold paramount the safety, health, and welfare of the public in the performance of professional duties<BR>? Operate and maintain all equipment and facilities associated with the vacuum furnace.<BR>? Coordinate the accurate fabrication of fixtures and samples with outside and internal sources, while maintaining a fast paced experimental testing schedule.<BR>? Work with PTL staff and additional support to meet the project schedule.<BR>? Provide accurate and detailed experimentation results.<BR>? Experience with metallography and lab wear test equipment desired.<BR>? Operation and maintenance of the physical and electronic test equipment in the PTL.<BR>? Timely and accurate setup of fixtures, samples, transducers, strain gauges, data recording devices, and loading procedures in accordance to written and verbal instructions.<BR>? Maintain and promote an environment of learning through experimentation and safety.<BR>? Demonstrate dependability and commitment to the customer?s needs and ESCO?s goals<BR>? Have a positive attitude and contribute in continuous improvement events.<BR>Job Requirements :<BR><BR>? 2 year College Certificate in related field or equivalent work experience.<BR>? 2-3 years of practical work experience in all aspects of responsibilities listed above.<BR>? Basic computer skills.<BR>? Good written and verbal communication skills.<BR>? The ideal candidate will have experience with a vacuum furnace or similar equipment, machining, general fabrication, understanding of process monitoring components, basic CAD, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.<BR>Offer Relocation :No </font></td>
