The position requires mid-level technical contribution, working with minimum supervision, and continually improving standard work and the development processes. This position will provide CAD models and engineering drawings and specifications for products that meet customer requirements. The core product team is located in Portland, OR. The product will be manufactured in various ESCO facilities as well as being sourced from suppliers. This position will report to the Lead Engineer.<BR>Responsibilities:<BR>? Understand and interpret customer requirements and translate into project and product requirements (timing and product).<BR>? Manage technical timeframes and workflow of internal and external resources.<BR>? Utilize standard development processes and standard work.<BR>? Identify and implement opportunities for continuous process improvement.<BR>Job Requirements :<BR><BR>The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:<BR>? Two year Engineering Degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred).<BR>? Prior experience in design of heavy equipment is preferred but not mandatory.<BR>? Effective communication, problem solving, project management, and organizational skills.<BR>? Understanding of materials and processes (castings, composites, welding, cutting, forming)<BR>? Familiarity with Bills of Materials and Manufacturing Routings<BR>? CAD modeling skills (NX preferred).<BR>? Ability to effectively work in a diverse team.<BR>? High degree of creativity.<BR>?
