<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Epic Analyst, Architecture<BR>Location: Oregon-Portland<BR>Job Number:_14287<BR>Providence is calling a full-time Epic Analyst, Architecture inPortland, Oregon<BR><BR>In this position you will: <BR><BR>* Develop and implement data architecture standards for Epic software applications used by Providence for enterprise reporting, regulatory reporting, healthcare data access, organizational dashboards, and performance improvement.<BR>* Analyze basic clinical and business processes and develop Business Objects and ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) tools required to build the underlying data architecture to enable those processes and meet user needs. <BR>* Analyze and develop strategies to ensure that new methods of data access do not reduce usability of the overlying Epic applications. <BR>* Analyze data quality issues, data usage, and other areas of special focus, and collaborate with engineers and database analysts to ensure the data architecture for Providence?s Epic software meets operational and reporting needs for all Epic users. <BR>* Develop and implement security policies related to data access. <BR>* Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation as needed.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Qualifications for this position include: <BR><BR>* A Bachelor?s degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science or an Engineering field.<BR>* 5 years progressively responsible post-Bachelor?s experience as a Consultant, Process Engineer, Systems/Business Analyst, or another occupation involving business/healthcare information systems. Experience must include:<BR>* 4 years analyzing the data needs of internal and external customers.<BR>* 3 years applying data warehousing concepts, including database structures, data definitions, data relationships, data modeling, and abstractions, to the development of business intelligence systems<BR>* 3 years with relational databases, including SQL, Crystal, Access, or Excel. <BR>* 3 years with Business Objects, including Business Objects report writing tools.<BR>* 2 years data scripting.<BR>* All education, training and experience may be gained concurrently. <BR><BR> <BR><BR><BR><BR>Job: Information Technology </font></td>
