               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Epic Interface Analyst<BR>Location: Oregon-Portland<BR>Job Number:_03023<BR>Providence is calling an Application Interface Developer to Providence Health & Services in Portland, OR or Renton, WA.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Work closely with an Epic EAI Engineer II or other senior staff to develop the skills and expertise to achieve the team goals.<BR>* Have responsibility for analysis, conversion, implementation and management of interfaces to and from Epic.<BR>* Obtain an in-depth understanding of core interface function and identifying and gathering the necessary information to configure Epic interfaces.<BR>* Identify the key data elements and how they relate to various interfacing scenarios.<BR>* Conduct functional and integrated testing in preparation for live cut-over.<BR>* Document current interface workflows and projected workflows with Epic Bridges: Verifying the scope of interfaces and working with Epic Interface analyst to update the interface licenses and the interface scope documentation.<BR><BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Associates degree<BR>* Minimum 3 years experience in Healthcare and/or technology or a combination of education and experience<BR>* 3 years experience as a Systems Analyst, or equivalent of experience and education<BR>* Demonstrated knowledge of HL7, X12, and/or other interface or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards<BR>* Basic understanding of the software development life cycle from requirements through testing and deployment<BR><BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Bachelor?s degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or other related field<BR>* Current Epic Bridges Certification<BR><BR>About the project you will serve.<BR>Providence Health & Services is implementing Epic, a patient-centered clinical information system across our health care network in Alaska, California, Oregon, Montana, and Washington.
