               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Epic Project Manager-User Experience<BR>Location: Oregon-Portland<BR>Job Number:_13036<BR>Providence is calling a Project Manager 1 to Epic Implementation in Renton, WA.. <BR><BR><BR>The Epic Project Manager I is responsible for the planning and execution of small to medium scope projects with low to moderate complexity. <BR><BR>This project manager?s first assignment will be to manage the Epic User Experience implementation in the Spokane service area. The assignment is to manage Technical Dress Rehearsals at the ministries, provide Command Center support during go lives, as needed, and manage post-go-live issues at the ministry.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Develop enterprise technical solutions for individual and similarly grouped projects. Drive product choices and vendor selection.<BR>* Drive Portfolio and Resource Management adoption within the IS organizations at PH&S.<BR>* Assist other Project Managers in their understanding and practice of project management at PH&S.<BR>* Assist in the development of the Epic project management office.<BR><BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Construction Management or related discipline OR equivalent relevant experience in addition to the minimum experience requirement. <BR>* A minimum of 3 years experience with information systems/technology or healthcare or project management with 1 year experience with direct responsibility in project management.<BR>* Experience in the use of desktop software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and MS Access.<BR>* Employees are expected to attain official EPIC certification for the relevant application or technologies essential to their position within 3 months of completing their initial training.<BR>* Must be able to travel by a variety of modes of efficient transportation to all PH&S sites within scope of assignment.<BR><BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Experience in healthcare<BR>* Project Management Certification through the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a program recognized by the Project Management Institute (local or national group)<BR>* Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification<BR><BR>About the project you will serve.<BR>Providence Health & Services is implementing Epic, a patient-centered clinical information system across our health care network in Alaska, California, Oregon, Montana, and Washington. We are adopting the entire suite of Epic modules, so we need people with diverse skills sets and backgrounds from all fields.
