Salary: $16.68 - $22.61/hour; Location: Cornell West Clinic and St. Mary's Academy game coverage.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> Under the direction and supervision of a licensed therapist, and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, the Physical Therapy Aide / Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) provides basic care as a member of the patient care team. Patient care activities are related to gym exercise program teaching and training, athlete exercise education, cleaning and preparation of treatment areas and stocking of linen and supplies. Other duties such as distribution of mail and pulling patient charts are indirectly related to patient care.. The Physical Therapy Aide / ATC recognizes and addresses age-appropriate needs when caring for patients. In addition, the Physical Therapy Aide / ATC assists in maintaining the practice environment in a clean, orderly condition.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: A minimum of Bachelor degree in exercise science or related field such as recreation, parks management, travel and tourism; N.A.T.A. B.O.C, current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association. Oregon Athletic Trainer Certified License. Three (3) years of experience in Athletic Training.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds. Standing, bending, stooping throughout daily schedule.
