<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Flex Service Rep<BR><BR><BR><BR>Job ID: 48147<BR># Positions: 2<BR><BR>Location: US-OR-Portland<BR>Experience (Years): ..<BR><BR>Posted Date: 7/18/2012<BR>Category: Sales<BR>More information about this job:<BR>General Responsibilities:<BR><BR>Under the general supervision of the Customer Sales Manager, the Flexible Service Representative is responsible to provide general information and assistance to customers at time of rental and upon return of their rental vehicle.<BR><BR>The key responsibilities and accountabilities for the incumbent are to:<BR><BR>The Flexible Service Representative will be involved in assisting customers with vehicles, updating rental agreements to include items for incremental revenue and answering basic consumer questions.<BR>* Greets customers at pick up and return<BR>* Actively seek to resolve all customer service issues at both point of rental and return to ensure overall customer satisfaction<BR>* Assist in the proactive sales approach to renting vehicles to customers in peak business times<BR>* Assists customers with any luggage<BR>* Communicate with the location staff concerning the condition of vehicles, tagging any out of service vehicles<BR>* Inspects ready line for cleanliness, registration, inspection, oil changes, turn-backs and grounding status<BR>* Demonstrate vehicle features for customers at time of rental<BR>* Ensures a positive customer experience by effective management of rental and return process to include qualifying the renter and completing contracts<BR>* Maximizes margin by up selling customers to higher-priced services and ancillary products<BR>* Protects company assets through enforcement of company policies and procedures<BR>* Communicate to Airport Managers all relevant customer feedback to facilitate on-going improvements in our service and prices to drive continuous improvement within our operations<BR>* Drives change from within to improve customer satisfaction and uses teamwork to tackle problems<BR>* Provides courteous, friendly and professional service to customers<BR>* Adheres to all policies and procedures<BR>* Moves and transports vehicles as needed<BR>Mandatory Requirements:<BR><BR>Educational Background:<BR>* High School Diploma or equivalent work in a related field<BR><BR>Professional Experience:<BR>* Prior experience in proactive customer facing positions that include sales goods & services.<BR><BR>Knowledge:<BR>* Rental car process<BR>* Retail/Sales Techniques<BR>* Advantage Rent a Car Procedures<BR><BR>Skills:<BR>* Communication<BR>* Ability to develop rapport with customers<BR>* Customer Service<BR>* Organization<BR>* Multi-task<BR>* Solid Computer abilities<BR>* Must have a valid driver's license, be 20 years of age, with an acceptable driving record<BR>* Must have the ability to work flexible schedules, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as required<BR><BR>Preferred Requirements :<BR><BR>Advantage is a Drug-Free Workplace.
