<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Global Claims Manager<BR>Location: OR-Portland<BR>Job Number:_00078784<BR>As our Global Claim Manager you will be a member of our growing Global Risk Finance & Claims Management team. Accountabilities will include the global administration of 1st & 3rd party property & casualty (including NIKE's captive insurance company), marine cargo, executive risk, and workers compensation (US & international) claims. You will be responsible for claim management strategies critical to NIKE's success - understanding &/or developing global programs, policies, and procedures for claim reporting, investigation, and analysis; litigation management; and the delivery of claim information. You will directly manage litigated and moderately complex claims, entrusted with significant settlement authority. You will manage direct reports - establishing individual goals, technical & administrative claims coaching, and fostering career development. You'll also be responsible for building, maintaining, and managing relationships with outside claims adjusters, insurers, legal counsel (internal & external), brokers, and other claims related parties. This role must understand, evolve and proactively communicate the NIKE claims management philosophy and strategy to NIKE & Affiliate (Converse & Hurley) business units and geography/country management. The NIKE Global Claim Manager will also be responsible for the design, analysis and delivery of claim information which influences risk financing and risk control program strategies through performance metrics and benchmarking.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>? Bachelors degree in Risk Management/Insurance, Business Administration, Law, Economics, Finance, or related field. AIC, CPCU, ARM or similar certifications a plus.<BR>? 4 years work experience in Insurance Claims, Risk Management or related field. Fortune 500 company preferred.<BR>? Strong computer skills with emphasis on Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS); Microsoft Excel & Word, PowerPoint; Visio; SAP; and general knowledge of business systems and how they support the organization. 'Risk Console' RMIS experience a plus.<BR>? Demonstrated ability to prioritize and adjust to change quickly. Flexible, logical and practical. Organizational and time management skills.<BR>? Effective verbal and written communications skills, including an ability to make presentations in front of a variety of audiences. <BR>? Positive attitude, pro-active, and a team player.<BR>? Proven analytical skills.<BR>? Experience working across cultures &/or countries preferred.<BR><BR>Job: Finance </font></td>
