The successful candidate will develop, execute, and report on detailed demand, inventory, purchase, and/or delivery plans for all products, manufactured or externally procured by our facility. Analyze data and make recommendations to achieve profitability, customer coverage, and inventory goals.<BR>RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMTED TO:<BR>* Create purchase orders, stock transport orders, and production orders<BR>* Analyze data and make recommendations to achieve profitability, customer coverage, and inventory goals<BR>* Review monthly division sales and operation plans<BR>* Monitor and maintain MPS/MRP elements<BR>* Maintain planning/purchasing system information in SAP<BR>* Coordinate, monitor, and communicate deliveries and changes<BR>* Provide product forecasts to suppliers and maintain inventories for assigned categories<BR>* Set up master data as part of NPI and EOL processes<BR>* Initiate, organize, and participate in continuous improvement activities<BR>* Provide training and guidance for other production planners and planning activities<BR>QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:<BR>* Two or more years planning, forecasting, or related experience (purchasing, financial analysis, or inventory planning)<BR>* Must have experience purchasing in the international market<BR>* Demonstrated team skills, including the ability to build and lead teams to achieve results<BR>* Ability to use planning and systems knowledge to resolve highly complex issues<BR>* Competence to utilize and navigate through standard SAP MM/PP processes and functionality<BR>* Basic ability to develop and utilize SAP BW reports or other analytical tools<BR>* Strong problem solving skills, must be proactive and action oriented for timely problem resolution<BR>* Excellent business analysis, project management and quantitative skills are required<BR>* Customer focus and industry knowledge<BR>* Proven organizational skills; must be able to prioritize and balance work based on many variables<BR>*                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    </font></td>
