The Aide may assist with patient care, such as turning a patient, while under the direct supervision of RNs. Other duties include completing daily quality checks, answering phones and retrieving necessary supplies or equipment.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> High school diploma or equivalent. Computer keyboarding skills. One (1) Year as Hospital Aide or experience in medical field preferred. Requires prioritization of multiple projects, activities, and assignments. Able to utilize office equipment within work area.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Frequent interruptions in an evironment of frequent change and fluctuations. May be exposed to excessive auditory and visual stimulation. May be exposed to body fluids, tissue, possible radiation exposure, and infectious processes. Subject to computer work for several hours, as needed. Carrying and Lifting up to 50 pounds (patients, equipment, supplies, books, etc) Intermittent throughout the day.<BR><BR>Pushing/Pulling up to 100 pounds, intermittent, throughout the day.Bending: From the waist and knees, frequently throughout the day. Fine manipulation, repetitive, gross motor requiring full ROM in upper extremeties, including overhead reaching.
