Reporting to supervisor, successful candidate will perform the following:<BR><BR>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:<BR><BR>* Repair CAT and non-CAT hydraulic components.<BR>* Recondition, rebuild, and test hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, swivels, tanks, hoses, and other related hydraulic components.<BR>* Use computer to enter service-related information, send / receive emails, etc.<BR>* Keep work area clean throughout day to ensure safe working environment.<BR>* Operate overhead cranes, power tools, and other shop equipment in a safe manner.<BR>* Wear personal protective equipment as required.<BR>* Attend scheduled training, department, and safety meetings.<BR>* Other duties as assigned by supervisor.<BR>Job Requirements :<BR><BR>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<BR>* Knowledge of basic diesel technology, electronics, transmissions, and hydraulics essential.<BR>* Prefer Associates Degree in Diesel Technology, or equivalent education and related experience.<BR>* Five years previous heavy equipment service experience preferred. (Education and experience must meet or exceed the minimum position requirements to be considered).<BR>* Ability to become forklift-certified<BR>* Maintain a tool inventory sufficient to perform assigned tasks<BR>* Posses valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record<BR>* Ability to work in shop environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, etc. May occasionally be required to work outside in various weather conditions.<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively with managers and co-workers as well as customers; excellent communication and customer relation skills.<BR>* Ability to read and comprehend technical literature.<BR>* Must possess basic computer skills and ability to use service software required.<BR>* Physical requirements: ability to lift 50 lbs. or more standing, bending, and walking.<BR>* Excellent work habits, attention to detail and safety, punctuality, and attendance; ability to work overtime as workload determines essential. </font></td>
