<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Import Specialist II<BR>Location: Oregon-Portland<BR><BR>Job Summary and Mission<BR><BR>Process import shipments and all related activities for an assigned base of accounts. Perform duties related to import documentation review, entry filing preparation for US Customs release, and customs release coordination affecting timely delivery. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.<BR><BR><BR>Summary of Key Responsibilities<BR>* <BR>Receive, review, and process import documentation for an assigned base of accounts. Process documents through the CLASS import system and interface with other CEVA systems to provide updates and communications for internal and external customers to produce timely and compliant customs brokerage transactions.<BR>* <BR>Obtain Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate, arranging delivery, and insuring invoicing for services is completed accurately and within the timeframe consistent with the import account and company policy.<BR>* <BR>Process other duties required for compliant release and timely delivery of shipments after release including but not limited to OGA release, cargo delivery set-up, and client invoicing.<BR>* <BR>Serve as a single point of coordination between import customers (internal and external) and US Customs and Border Protection and insure service commitments are achieved and maintained in accordance with client and company objectives.<BR>* <BR>Advise supervisor of any problems or irregularities discovered within assigned transactions.<BR>* <BR>Provide excellent and timely customer service by proactively informing clients of the status of their shipments using judgment and knowledge, referring more technical questions to the Team Leader or Licensed Broker for response.<BR>* <BR>Coordinate the release of goods from the carrier, Customs or other governmental agency examinations that may be required.<BR><BR>Summary of Experience and Education<BR>* High School Diploma or GED required.<BR>* Minimum one to three years related experience.<BR>* Minimum one year industry experience preferred.<BR><BR>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities<BR>* <BR>Professional certification may e required in some areas.<BR>* <BR>Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.<BR>* <BR>Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills.<BR>* <BR>Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. currency, weight, volume and distance measurements.<BR>* <BR>Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs and responds to requests for service and assistance.<BR>* <BR>Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.<BR>* <BR>Balances team and individual responsibilities, exhibits objectivity and openness to others views.<BR>* <BR>Consistently at work and on time.<BR>* <BR>Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.<BR>* <BR>Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.<BR>* <BR>Read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence.<BR>* <BR>Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.<BR><BR>Lic </font></td>
