<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Infection Control/Environmental Health and Safety Program Specialist<BR>Location: Clackamas, OR<BR>Coordinate and support Safety and Infection Control in any areas which are needed including being prepared for disasters and having the ability to react and coordinate staffing and supplies to all hospital departments and the Hospital Command Center. Maintain supportive relationships with all hospital and regional departments related to Safety and Infection Control. Support DEQ, OSHA and CDC regulations by supplying and maintaining records related to surgical procedures, employee safety and patient safety, as well as reporting various infectious disease data to regulatory bodies. Support various committees by planning, updating minutes, tracking staff and coordinating completion of projects generated by the committees or regulatory agencies. Coordination of projects that may require setting up and leading 1:1 meetings. Coordinate and maintain records and documentation of annual compliance and training of all hospital staff. Be a visible representative of safety by engaging staff at all levels. Support Kaiser Permanente national guidelines using branded materials and ensuring all Safety and Infection Control information meets national standards.<BR><BR>Essential Functions:<BR>- Fulfills regulatory requirements such as fire drills, environmental rounds, and obtains patient information for Infection Control program to assist with epidemiologic studies.<BR>- Works with managers, supervisors and coordinators from other departments to ensure elements of programs are maintained and deficiencies are remediated.<BR>- Develop and implement program tracking tools, including: issue tracking, status reporting, documentation management, and event planning.<BR>- Provide support for the National Healthcare Safety Network (NSHN) system for the Infection Control Program by maintaining databases with extremely sensitive information, verifying data prior to report out to CDC, Counties, etc. and provides sensitive reports to internal and external customers.<BR>- Collects and maintains all documentation related to regulatory compliance.<BR>- Coordinate content for quarterly newsletters and presentations.<BR>- Oversees changes to Policies and Procedures and ensures they are updated to the web.<BR>- Prepare presentations and packets for program managers including clinical presentations.<BR>- Report out sections of data at meetings.<BR>- Represents Department in 1:1 meetings with other departments related to open projects.<BR>- Performs other technical and program support duties as assigned.<BR>Qualifications:<BR>Basic Qualifications:<BR>- Over three (3) years of experience working with health care professionals in a high volume environment, including presentation preparation and performing multiple complex tasks for management.<BR>- Valid driver''s license.<BR>- Ability to work in complex, high activity project environment.<BR>- Strong interpersonal skills.<BR>- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.<BR>- Very detail </font></td>
