               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Instructor<BR> <BR>Department Arthritis & Rheumatic Diseases<BR> <BR>Location SJH 7314<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Salary: $75,000, Location: Marquam Hill<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> <BR>The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in the furtherance of the University?s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.<BR>This position will be under the direct supervision of the Chair of the Department of Medicine and the Chief of the Division of Arthritis & Rheumatic Diseases. The position is full-time and include the following duties: participation in the education of medical students and house staff; participation in committees and other assignments in the School of Medicine as assigned by the Dean, Chair or standing committees; provision of care to patients at OHSU, both in and out of the hospital, as assigned by the Chairs; engagement in productive program research and other academic endeavors; and maintain membership with the FPP. The maintenance of an active Oregon medical license, DEA license and hospital privileges at OHSU are a necessary pre-requisite for the aforementioned membership.<BR>The general pattern of working hours will be set by the Chair. Deviations from the general pattern may be necessary at times to meet position responsibilities, which include: attendance in OHSU Rheumatology clinics, participation in OHSU consultation service, and participation in OHSU ?on call? schedules. The time that is not directly related to clinical care may be structured as you deem appropriate with the approval of the Chair.
