               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Instructor<BR> <BR>Department Family Medicine<BR> <BR>Location EJH 102<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; the work week for this position will be flexible and include Saturday and some weekday evenings; Salary: $80,000-90,000, which will include a base academic salary paid through the academic department plus a clinical salary from an incentive system based on the success and productivity of the practice, as well as personal initiative; Location: Gabriel Park Clinic<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> This position academically reports to the Chairman of Family Medicine and clinically reports to the Medical Director, OHSU Family Medicine at Gabriel Park Clinic. The incumbent will practice eight half-days per week, 6 half days at Gabriel Park Clinic with one day focused on Sports Medicine and 2 half days at the Scappoose Clinic with one day focused on Sports Medicine. The incumbent will participate between six to eight weeks per year on the FMIS (A and B), and weekend and holiday coverage, consistent with other faculty participants. Also, all faculty members are expected to take an active role in the committee structure of the School of Medicine, to attend faculty meetings, and participate in faculty and professional development programs. They will receive one half day per week for scholarship and one half day per week to complete administrative tasks. Participation on the FM Inpatient service is required. The faculty member will be expected to have a strong commitment to developing the practice into a vibrant clinical and academic operation, which is successful from both a professional and business point of view. The faculty member will be expected to participate in continuing education, professional and faculty development and scholarship as directed by the department.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Requirements include M.D. /D.O. degree as well as, graduate medical education in an ACGME accredited Family Medicine residency; Board certification or board eligibility; capable of providing comprehensive health services and certified to prescribe; and approved staff privileges at OHSU University Hospital and specific community hospitals.
