<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Instructor/Clinical Teacher<BR> <BR>Department Family Medicine<BR> <BR>Location EJH 102<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Evenings and Saturdays on rotation are required and preference will be given to individuals with greater weekend and evening availability; Salary: $80,000-90,000, Compensation for the position will include a base academic salary paid through the academic department plus a clinical salary from an incentive system based on the success and productivity of the practice, as well as personal initiative; Location: Richmond Clinic.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university's missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service. The individual holding this position will academically report to the Chairman of Family Medicine and clinically report to the Medical Director, OHSU Family Medicine Clinic. The faculty member will practice eight half-days per week with direct patient care and the supervision of other learners at their OHSU Family Health Center and receive one half day per week for scholarship, and one half day per week for teaching and to complete administrative tasks. The faculty member will participate between six to eight weeks per year on the FMIS (A, B, D), and weekend and holiday coverage, consistent with other faculty participants. The faculty member will be expected to participate in continuing education, professional and faculty development and scholarship as directed by his/her department. Also, all faculty members are expected to take an active role in the committee structure of the School of Medicine, to attend faculty meetings, and participate in faculty and professional development programs. The faculty member will be expected to have a strong commitment to developing the practice into a vibrant clinical and academic operation, which is successful from both a professional and business point of view. Once established in practice, all providers are expected to provide Physician Assistant (PA) supervision.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required qualifications include an M.D./D.O. Degree as well as graduate medical education in an ACGME accredited Family Medicine residency; board certification or board eligibility; capable of providing comprehensive health services and be certified to prescribe; and approved staff privileges at OHSU University Hospital and specific community hospitals.
