               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Intermediate/Advanced Web & User Interface / UX DeveloperContract/Full Time W2<BR>Concero Technology a fast growing insurance technology company in Portland Oregon, located near Washington Square, is looking to fill a full-time user experience development position within Concero-?s development group. Job responsibilities include:<BR>Position Description.<BR>* Be a hands-on member of a development team of committed, experienced developers who are responsible for small number (typically 1 to 3) of Concero customer deployments that will be active concurrently.<BR>* The successful candidate will be play an integral role in advancing the usability and user experience across all of our portal platforms. This individual should have a passion for UX design and a track record of successful implementation.<BR>* The bulk of the development tasks involve extending and modifying the existing user experience for our web-based applications using the Microsoft .NET development environment and related products (Visual Studio, Source Safe, MS SQL Server, etc.).<BR>* The development tasks include the development of UX extensions to the base application as well as developing customer-specific user experience requirements to be included within the application.<BR>* The candidate will be assigned web site development (forms design, view designs, reports, queries, etc.), documentation (test plans, etc.), machine configuration and testing tasks.<BR>* This person will work closely with Concero customers and Concero Implementation Services to define and deliver solutions that meet customer application requirements.<BR>* A preference will be given to those whose business experience includes a background in health insurance, ancillary insurance and accounting.<BR>Position Requirements:<BR>* Qualified candidates will have a BS Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field and 5+ years of software development experience or equivalent professional experience.<BR>* Experience developing standards-based HTML, CSS (2.0 & 3.0) web applications including wire framing, prototyping and developing working sample models.<BR>* Extensive experience designing multi-browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.) compatible websites.<BR>* Established web graphics design experience (icons, buttons, etc.)<BR>* Excellent JavaScript frameworks skills. Including Jquery, Json, Ajax, etc.<BR>* Current hands-on experience developing database-driven web sites using Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2008 and the .Net 2.0/ 3.0 /3.5 Framework is required.<BR>* A good understanding of software design methodologies, object-oriented programming, and experience with the Microsoft development environment is required.<BR>* Language competency in VB.Net, C#, T-SQL. Ability to manage SQL Server 2005 and IIS strongly suggested. Competency in Word, Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint required.<BR>* Ability to independently define problems and solutions.
