<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: International Accounting Manager<BR>Location: OR-Portland<BR>Job Number:_00067518<BR><BR>As Nike's International Accounting Manager, you will be a key member of Nike's Corporate Controlling team primarily serving as a technical accounting specialist and overseeing Nike's global statutory compliance program. This role will:<BR>? Engage in and assess the accounting implications of various complex, multinational transactions involving our legal organization or capital structure, working closely with a cross-functional team of representatives from Corporate Tax, Treasury, Legal and Corporate Controlling.<BR>? Make recommendations to Corporate Controlling and geography finance management on complex and critical accounting issues. <BR>? Provide support to the Controlling leadership team in assessing detailed process impacts associated with existing projects and/or change initiatives.<BR>? Oversee Nike's global statutory compliance program including the monitoring of statutory reporting and audit requirements for Nike's international subsidiaries and supporting our geography, territory or country accounting teams' compliance with these requirements. This also includes summarizing and analyzing the program against key metrics and periodically presenting findings to the Controlling leadership team. <BR>? Partner with Corporate Tax on transfer pricing initiatives as well as permanent reinvestment and/or cash repatriation plans. <BR>? Manage a Corporate Senior Accountant, participating in activities such as work planning, resource optimization, employee goal setting, coaching, and performance monitoring.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Requirements for the position include:<BR>? Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business with an emphasis in accounting or finance<BR>? Minimum of 6 years' experience in the application of US GAAP, SEC reporting, auditing or other related area, preferably with a Big 4 public accounting firm<BR>? CPA strongly preferred<BR>? Experience with the accounting for and disclosure requirements over fair value measurements, financial instruments and transactions containing foreign currency elements under US GAAP is strongly preferred<BR>? Experience with cross-currency transactions in a large, multinational public company is highly desirable<BR>? Experience with and interest in the application of tax accounting guidance under US GAAP is a plus<BR>? SAP experience is a plus<BR>? Participative, "roll up the sleeves" management style<BR>? Proven ability to effectively communicate complex topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience<BR>? Strong ability to develop influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and layers<BR>? Strong verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations<BR>? Proven ability to multi-task<BR>?
