<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">This position is responsible for performing a variety of service functions at a journeyman diesel truck mechanical level, and making a positive contribution to the overall success and growth of the operation and division. Success in this role will be measured against performance in the following areas; timely service to the customer, customer satisfaction, tire services, changing oil on heavy duty trucks, performing a variety of other repairs to heavy duty trucks that require journeyman level experience; mentoring with apprentice level technicians ensuring their work is thoroughly inspected before the vehicle is released to the customer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Politely and promptly greets customers, obtaining all relevant information regarding type of service requested, service and product options, and method of payment. 2. Responsible for the safe and efficient application of a wide variety of repairs on heavy duty trucks including, but not limited to, electrical, air and A/C systems, dismounting, repairing, balancing, wheel switching, mounting of tires, changing oil, changing filter OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 1. Knowledge of various types of tire service equipment and heavy duty truck repair equipment, including but not limited to air guns, air jacks, drill, buffers, tire bars, hammers and misc. hand tools. 2. Basic computer skills a plus. 3. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. 4. Ability to follow all established safety standards. 5. Strong customer service skills. 6.
