<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">As our Knit Specialist, you''ll join our Development Team and create designs on Flat Knitting machines. You''ll be assisting in creating new knitted products for a variety of applications. You''ll follow leads by product designers and developers while integrating ideas through Knitting Technology in a team environment. You''ll optimize a program regarding performance, efficiency and reliability. You''ll be required to help the team evaluate new yarns and fabrics to meet the performance needs of products. You''ll act as a key member of the team, helping to develop new products and materials. You''ll help with grading and assembly of the product and make small test runs as well as get involved in production runs. In addition, you''ll also be called upon to support a transition process of a product from a R&D concept to commercialization, and all the way through to production.321191<BR><BR>QualificationsRequirements for the position include:<BR> - Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field is preferred<BR> - Additional 2 years'' related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree<BR> - Minimum 5 years'' experience in operation and programming of flat knitting machines; any additional experience in industrial programming related to knitting, weaving and/or other textile related fields, is a plus<BR> - Experience developing knitted fabrics on a Flat Knitting machine<BR> - Experience in pattern design and shape implementation for technical knitting applications<BR> - Experience in programming of the Stoll CMS range of machines is a plus<BR> - Must be trained on the computerized programming of system for Flat Knitting machines<BR> - M1 plus (related to Stoll CMS range of machines) is preferred<BR> - Must understand fully fashioned knitting<BR> - Understanding of the grading process of a full fashioned program<BR> - Understanding of the full garment assembly process<BR> - Vision requirements ranging from clarity of vision at 20 inches or less to 20 feet or more with a field of vision to see up to, down and left to right, while on a fixed point<BR> - Ability to travel up to 10% </font></td>
