Can you diagnose basic mechanical issues? SOS Employment Group is currently teamed up with a company in Portland and is looking for qualified Maintenance Mechanic Journey-Level, Millwright or Electrician for a direct hire position.<BR><BR>This is a union shop and this person will be required to pay dues after the 90 day probationary period. Hours needed are on a continuous operations schedule will be 8 hr or 12 hr.<BR>***This is a Direct hire opportunity offered through a staffing agency ***<BR><BR>Job Duties:<BR>* MUST have Journeyman or LME License.<BR>* Must have experience in a maintenance role in manufacturing.<BR>* Needs to have strong electrical experience<BR>* Maximo or SAP experience on computers needed<BR>* Mechanical Aptitude - doing rebuilds of small parts/tools - replacing bearings and bushings, labeling parts, assemblies.<BR>* Handyman around the shop - will be directed by maintenance mechanics to put parts, assemblies, or other equipment together, hang parts or other equipment, and check safety equipment.<BR>* Reading blueprints<BR>* Tooling, cleaning with a sandblaster and using a chemical bath to wash parts.<BR><BR>Job Requirements<BR>* HS/GED<BR>* All applicants will be subject to a pre-employment background check<BR>* Applicant will be subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment<BR>* Excellent attention to detail.<BR>* Overtime is required, weekend work is possible.<BR>* Must be available to work any shift including swing or graveyard.<BR>* 3-5 years experience as an Maintenance Journey-Level, Millwright or Electrician<BR><BR>Job Benefits & Perks:<BR>Fun work environment<BR>Growing Company<BR>Well established<BR>Weekly Pay<BR><BR>SOS Employment Group is an equal opportunity employer.
