Machines parts to specified tolerances. Maintains records and equipment to reduce delays, costs, and breakdowns. Contributes to a work environment where all employees work safely and respectfully with one another.<BR>&#160;Responsibilities<BR>* Respond to equipment breakdowns and make efficient repairs<BR>* Perform planned and scheduled maintenance<BR>* Assist engineering and production departments in the development and execution of ideas to improve products, machinery and methods<BR>* Draw and review mechanical blueprints to assist in the installation, repair and improvement of equipment<BR>* Erect and install new equipment. Make any changes specified by sketches, drawings, or verbal instructions to adapt new machinery to our standards of quality and speed<BR>* Move and position machinery in new and altered layouts<BR>* Machine parts for maintenance and repairs<BR>* Provide input on preventive/predictive maintenance programs<BR>* Assist electricians and building equipment operators on routine tasks<BR>Required Skills<BR><BR>* Oregon State LME Electrical License required<BR>* Associate Degree in Machine Shop Technology a plus<BR>* Experience in the printing industry a plus<BR>* Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends required<BR>* Mechanical ability and creativity in applying that ability<BR>* Basic math and an understanding of decimals, fractions and geometry<BR>* Read, write and understand English for effective communication<BR>* Ability to climb, squat, bend, reach and lift or move up to 50 pounds<BR>* Operate or use hoist truck, lifts, lathe, computer, mill, welder, rigging equipment, micrometer, depth gauge, caliper and other basic hand and power tools<BR>OTJ-MAN<BR>Required Experience<BR><BR>* Minimum of&#160;2+ to 5 years maintenance mechanic experience required<BR>OTJ-MAN<BR>Job Location<BR>Portland, OR, US.<BR>Position Type<BR>Full-Time/Regular                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         </font></td>
