               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Managed Care Coordinator (PAS Resource Specialist)<BR> <BR>Department Center for Women's Health<BR> <BR>Location PPV 420<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position working Monday - Friday with variable hours. The salary range for this position is $15.95 - $21.58/hour. This position is located at Marquam Hill.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Managed Care Coordinator is responsible for handling all aspects of the authorization process for Center For Women?s Health. This will include Provider recommendations for care by Providers both inside OHSU, and outside OHSU, with the potential of referrals outside the State of Oregon. The Managed Care Coordinator supports the Departments and its Faculty by providing the needed managed care for patient appointments. The following Divisions need Managed Care done on a daily basis: OBGYN Generalists and Residents, Nurse Midwives, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, Family Planning, Internal Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Nutrition Services, and Mental Health. The position will need to coordinate with outside foundations, such as ARCH, 211 INFO, and other Grants within OHSU.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: One (1) year of experience in a medical office setting, including high-volume direct patient contact, scheduling of appointments and obtaining managed care authorizations. The candidate must have a thorough knowledge of PAS policies and procedures. Excellent computer skills including word processing. Ability to work independently; ability to multi-task in a busy office area; great customer service skills; needs to be meticulously detailed. Preferred: Candidates to have demonstrated advanced PAS user skills as well as extensive knowledge of integrated care at OHSU. One (1) year experience as a Managed Care Coordinator. One (1) year experience as a Surgery Scheduler/and or back up. One (1) year experience using ICD9 and CPT coding.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> This position requires the ability to sit at a desk for at least 4 hours at a time.
