<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">***TO APPLY, please call Worksource Portland Metro East at 503-669-7112 opt. 2*** QUALIFICATIONS: * A bachelor's degree in a technical field * At least 5 years of related experience and/or training * Strong project management skills * Strong general computer skills including proficiency with MS Office applications * Demonstrated competence with one or more CAD applications PREFERRED: * A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering * MS-Project experience * SolidWorks or Catia V5 experience * Proficiency in Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques * Certification with 6-Sigma (DMAIC) methodology * Technical expertise in Plastic Injection Molding, Mechanical Assembly, Die Casting, CNC Machining, Painting, or Chemical Processing JOB DUTIES: * Develop, recommend and implement improvements to production processes including process control strategies, assembly methods, and production equipment. * Identify and define New Product/Process Introduction (NPI) projects including detailed project scope, schedules, and resource requirements. * Executes project plans by either leading or supporting development activities of cross-functional NPI team to achieve defined project objectives. * Coordinate with Design Engineering to ensure a robust cost effective manufacturing process is developed concurrent with the new product release schedule. * Oversee manufacturing launch for new or revised products including establishing goals, training and evaluating results. * Estimate manufacturing cost, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. * Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency. * Accurately develop and maintain bills of materials and manufacturing plans. * Justify, develop, and implement various assembly fixtures, tools, and test equipment to support reliable and efficient assembly of products. * Oversee the installation, modification, and maintenance of manufacturing process equipment. * Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. * Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and employees. * Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. * Perform problem analysis and problem resolution. * Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. </font></td>
