As a Lubrication Specialist within the chain Maintenance Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the lubrication of manufacturing equipment, maintaining records, and act as the department's environmental respresentative. JOB DUTIES INCLUDE: * Lubricate manufacturing equipment and replace filters, hoses, heads, and mufflers * Use a computer based system to retrieve work orders and process documentation * Dispose of chemicals according to established regulations * Serve as the department's environmental representative * Work with vendors and supply houses * Responsible for inventory levels, ordering, and restocking of parts * Train new employees, machine operators, and apprentices * Participate in continuous improvement activities * Follow safety procedures and wear safety equipment * Maintain a clean work area * Availability: Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule * Day shift: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. * Swing shift: 4:00 p.m. to midnight * Graveyard shift: Midnight to 7:30 a.m. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED: * Good communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English * Basic math * Excellent attendance * Flexible team player and flexible in team assignments * Mechanical aptitude required * Machine operation experience preferred * Self-starter with excellent work habits needing minimal direction * Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and progressive attitude toward change * Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented * Proven ability to work with others in a team environment * Ability to complete computer transactions in SAP a plus EDUCATION: * High school diploma or GED is required.
