<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">***TO APPLY, please call Worksource Portland Metro East at 503-669-7112 opt. 2*** REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university * At least 5 years or more of mechanical design experience * Demonstrated competency with GD& T and mechanical tolerance analysis methods * Working proficiency using Design of Experiments techniques / applications (Minitab, JMP, or Design-Expert) * Demonstrated expertise with CAD applications * Strong presentation skills * Proficiency with MS Office applications and Program Management Software PREFERRED: * An advanced degree * Prior experience with specification and / or control of painting and finishing processes * Prior experience with plastic injection molding and / or aluminum die casting designs and / or processes * Working knowledge of FAR Part 25 or 14 CFR Part 25 Airworthiness Standards * AS9100 standards and document control experience * SolidWorks or CATIA V5 * Functional proficiency in use and application of numerical simulation methods (particularly Finite Element Analysis and/or CFD/Thermal analysis) * Knowledge of Statistical Process Control methodology and applications JOB DUTIES: * Lead system-level and sub-system designs through fast-paced product development cycles. * Articulate and clearly document detailed customer product and technical requirements. * Ensure requirements are represented and supported throughout the development process. * Be highly motivated and bring technical and tactical leadership to cross-disciplinary teams. * Ensure critical design interfaces are identified and supported. * Ensure that designs meet customer requirements by developing and executing test plans. * Generate engineering test reports. * Track technical progress and provide updates and status to Management and the Program Manager. * Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching to more junior personnel in the engineering group. * Travel as required. * Develop innovative solutions to complex problems where little or no technical precedence exists. * Communicate using concise and clearly written reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. </font></td>
