Provide the medical membership program in an educational and safe manner. Design fitness/wellness programming for members and non-members. Work with others at OHSU and outside to provide superior programming.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>BS in exercise science or related field and two years experience in the fitness industry required. MS in exercise science or related field and three years experience in the fitness industry, clinic rehabilitation preferred.<BR>Experience in implementing successful rehabilitation programs and provider referral programs. Experience providing strength training, cardiovascular, and flexibility training principles and techniques. Strong customer service skills. Strong leadership abilities. Strong organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate to members and staff in a courteous, friendly and professional manner. Ability to project and promote a healthy image. Ability to work independently, multi-task, be flexible and meet deadlines. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.<BR><BR>Certification through a national organization such as ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE required. CPR, AED and First Aid certification required. ACLS preferred.<BR><BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> This position requires a high level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods of time, demonstrating equipment use, spotting, and instructing physical activity classes.
