Responsibilities:<BR>System Operations<BR>* Proactively monitor the network<BR> systems to maximize uptime of the network and respond in a timely<BR> manner to problems affecting internal, as well as external clients.<BR>* Maintain awareness of system<BR> issues with the enterprise network, as well as other IT and Business<BR> units to assist with the development of client/business discussion<BR> points and internal upgrade considerations.<BR>* Develop a generalist level of<BR> understanding of all network systems to assist in a support role,<BR> if required, as well as a subject matter expertise in specific<BR> systems as identified.<BR>* Participates in an on-call rotation,<BR> with late night and weekend work as required.<BR><BR>Projects and Documentation<BR>* Create appropriate documentation<BR> from technical discussion and project efforts to include:<BR>* Physical Network Architecture<BR> diagrams.<BR>* Virtual Network Architecture<BR> diagrams.<BR>* Application and associated systems<BR> attached to the enterprise network.<BR>* Configuration details necessary<BR> to support the installation of the enterprise network and associated<BR> management tools.<BR>* Business requirements and expectations<BR> as they pertain to the network systems.<BR>* Perform site walkthroughs and<BR> client interviews for information gathering to assist with the<BR> development of estimates and project success.<BR>* Lead or provide a technical<BR> project management role on medium projects from concept to completion<BR> using defined project management techniques to capture work effort,<BR> timeline, milestones and assigned resources for tracking purposes.<BR><BR>Strategic Direction and Analysis<BR>* Assists with the development<BR> of enterprise-wide standards, processes, methodologies, as well<BR> as helping to set the long term strategic roadmap affecting design,<BR> security, installation, integration, as well as ongoing support<BR> of technical systems.<BR>* Work with Information Technology<BR> departments and Business Units to provide technical knowledge<BR> as well as consulting services to develop current and future<BR> direction of technical solutions necessary to meet business requirements.<BR>* Analyze system performance to<BR> identify deficiencies in design, security, installation, and<BR> integration with other technologies to enhance or provide efficient<BR> services to external customers and employees.<BR><BR><BR>Required Skills and Experience: <BR>* 5+ years of previous network<BR> experience.<BR>* Cisco 6000 Series Switches<BR>* Cisco ASA Firewall Series<BR>* Cisco CSACS<BR>* Cisco CSS Load-balancers<BR>* Working knowledge of networking<BR> topologies, routing and switching protocols, wireless networks,<BR> fi </font></td>
