We're committed to making every consumer's experience a rewarding one, and as a member of our retail team, your contributions will be a big part of our success.<BR><BR>As a Nike Direct to Consumer merchandise planning manager you will develop, execute and communicate merchandise financial plans and strategies that support the merchandising, marketing and financial objectives of a division. You'll create and update style level merchandise plans to reflect consumer and store needs by working closely with functional and cross functional partnerships and driving the vertical retail model. In this role, you will drive financial results that maximize sales, inventory and bottom line profitability at the style level for a category within our portfolio. Your work will include analyzing historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by department and class for the preseason, as well as in-season business.<BR><BR>In this role you will establish clear merchandise plans that tell a story for the season and help merchandising to create a line grounded in profitability and consumer centric offering. This will include collaborating with category partners, merchandising and business units to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns future financial and product opportunities. You'll create pre-season style plans that support divisional goals. You will recap and analyze actual sales results to plan, and forecast in-season sales and inventories on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. In addition, you'll develop monthly forecasts of sales and inventory for all basic and fashion styles and will develop strategies to meet department financial goals and own open to buy forecasts.<BR><BR>In addition, as our Merchandise Planning Manager, you will be responsible for up to three direct reports. This includes managing their development as highly successful Merchandise planners, mentoring their career path and motivating them in their daily tasks.<BR><BR>This role will include presenting financial plans, forecasts and strategies in key meetings. You will proactively report on the health of the business and facilitate smart business decisions, communicate financial results, forecasts, and action plans to managers and cross-functional team members on a weekly basis. You will collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, share best practices and develop systems knowledge.
