This media includes inspection programs for Numerical Control (NC) machines, coordinate measuring machine (CMM), Faro Arms, Laser Trackers, creation of mylars and creation of dimensioned sketches. Processes require the familiarity of Catia V4 and V5 as well as manufacturing processes related to the fabrication processes.<BR><BR>Establishes, interprets and maintains the capabilities, equipment, and procedures necessary to support inspection to digital or Model Based Design (MBD) and inspection using computer aided systems. This includes the development of new systems and procedures that implement the latest technology into inspection techniques.<BR><BR>Plans, designs, and creates inspection media, methods and techniques to validate equipment or determine product acceptance. Determine the appropriate media for product acceptance by interpreting the engineering requirements and technological capabilities. Develops or improves programming methods or software for development of inspection media.<BR><BR>Provide technical expertise for geometric dimension and tolerance (GD&T) per American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) y14.5m. Participate in reviews to ensure that dimensional inspection requirements are incorporated into product designs. Represent Quality in the preparation of dimensional inspection requirements for bids and proposals.<BR><BR>Develops and deploys test, inspection, and data collection techniques. Analyzes test, inspection or statistical data and troubleshoots anomalous result to determine product and processes validity.
