<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Nurse Informaticist<BR> <BR>Department Clinical Informatics<BR> <BR>Location MSB 701<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> <BR>FTE: 1.0, Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Salary: $71,400 - $107,100 annually, Location: Marquam Hill.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Nurse Informaticist within the Department of Clinical Informatics is a champion providing leadership, vision, and direction for clinical computer systems, devices that interface with the Enterprise Electronic Health Record (EEHR), and data/workflow management. The informatics nurse serves as a liaison between the various stakeholders to enhance user satisfaction as well as support excellent patient care, leading and participating in various institutional committees and workgroups. The nurse informaticist collaborates with team-members to define clinical workflows and operational procedures to support the technical, cultural and process changes necessary for successful implementation and optimization of the electronic health record.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: Master?s degree in Nursing. Clinical RN experience; minimum two (2) years. Ability to function effectively in a dynamic team environment. Ability to work in a highly autonomous role by demonstrating self-motivation and creativity. Ability to proactively pursue problem resolution to satisfy customer needs. Ability to manage multiple complex tasks efficiently while successfully meeting assigned deadlines. Working knowledge of hospital operations and the patient care process. Experience implementing technology that promoted fundamental changes in clinical settings. Excellent oral and written communication skills in a diverse workforce including facilitation and presentation skills. Strong organizational, project management, team building and excellent customer service skills. Ongoing knowledge and understanding of JC & CMS requirements. Critical thinking and creative problem solving skills. Epic application certification (or within 6 months after hire). Preferred: Nursing Informatics Certification. Experience implementing an electronic medical record, preferably Epic. Working knowledge and understanding of project coordination and management. Working knowledge of CPM. Registered Nurse (current Oregon licensure).<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Normal office environment, domestic travel. Sitting, walking, computer operations and key boarding use.
