<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Nurse Practitioner<BR> <BR>Department Comprehensive Pain Center<BR> <BR>Location SJH 3250<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> Comprehensive Pain Center, CHH 4th floor<BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> ****This position is subject to a collective bargaining agreement with the Oregon Nurses Association (ONA)**** 1.0 FTE; Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:00AM - 4:30PM; Salary range: $41.64 - $60.49/hour; Location: Center for Health & Healing, South Waterfront.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The purpose of this position is to coordinate and support the needs of patients with intratehcal pumps, provide peri-procedural management of spinal cord stimulators, and clinical support operations for Comprehensive Pain Center by having independent clinics. The NP will also provide back up for the NP on the Acute Pain Service in the hospital. The CPC NP will work in partnership with faculty physicians, Fellows, and MAs (medical assistants) to provide excellent clinical care and customer service in the inpatient and outpatient areas. The CPC NP will support the Department's and Hospital and Clinics? goal of providing effective, efficient and appropriate care. The CPC NP is authorized to prescribe medications according to the Oregon State Board of Nursing Formulary for Nurse Practitioners.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: CANP. Current Oregon NP license. Board Certified Prescriptive Authority (DEA License). Nurse Practitioner Core Competencies. Skilled in organizational behavior and human resource management. Ability to Multi-task and prioritize. Ability to work as a team member in an interdisciplinary setting. Demonstrate effective communications in both verbal, written, and electronic media. Computer/word processing skills. Three (3) - five (5) years Nursing experience in area of Pain Management preferred.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Subject to computer work for several hours, as needed.
