<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Nurse Practitioner Neurology Stroke<BR>Location: Oregon-Portland<BR>Job Number:_06156<BR><BR>Providence is calling a full-time Nurse Practitioner Neurology Stroke for a day shift position at Providence Professional Plaza in Portland, OR. <BR><BR>In this position, you will:<BR><BR>* Work collaboratively with all clinic and hospital team members to evaluate and treat neurology patients. Counsels and instruct patients, families, and/or caregivers regarding neurology care issues.<BR>* Assist in coordinating and ordering imaging, lab and other testing to assist in diagnosis.<BR>* Provide advanced evaluation skills to neurology patients.<BR><BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR><BR>* Current State of Oregon RN and Nurse Practitioner licensure.<BR>* Board Certification as Nurse Practitioner.<BR>* Current prescriptive privileges with State of Oregon, including current DEA certificate.<BR>* Current BLS and ACLS. <BR>* Two years ICU/CCU neurology NP experience.<BR>* PHS NP privileging as an independent practitioner within 6 months of hire.<BR><BR>About Providence in Oregon<BR><BR>As the largest health care system and largest private employer in Oregon, Providence offers exceptional work environments and unparalleled career opportunities.<BR><BR>The Providence Experience begins each time our patients or their families have an encounter with a Providence team member and continues throughout their visit or stay.
